AHU Denver is raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Climb in honor of Katie!

Katie's Story: I was diagnosed with CF when I was 3 days old. Although CF is genetic, my parents didn’t realize they were carriers and my diagnosis was a shock to them. They were told I probably wouldn’t live past the age of 18 but they didn’t accept that and treated me like a normal child while giving me the best care and teaching me to care for myself as well. Through the prayers of my family and many friends, dedicated doctors and care teams throughout the years, and, most importantly, the love and faithfulness of God, I have beaten the odds by a long shot and will turn 49 this year! The CF Foundation has been so critical to my good health as well with their constant research and development of new pharmaceuticals that have helped me greatly. I know that every dollar raised will help as they continue to push for a cure!
