About this campaign
Help Bring Jakhobi Hale Home
My beloved son, Jakhobi Hale, age 21, has been missing since May 16, 2026, after leaving his grandparents’ property on Gold Hill near Darrington, Washington, for what was expected to be a short hike. He planned to head north from the property and return before dark, but he never came home.
Jakhobi grew up exploring this mountain and knew the area well. He was familiar with the trails, nearby cabins, and the beaver pond surrounding the property. Despite his knowledge of the area, he was not prepared for an overnight or long-term hike. Since that morning, there has been no confirmed sighting or contact.
Jakhobi’s Last Known Clothing and Items:
Olive or forest-green Helly Hansen rain jacket *Two-toned blue/gray and purple zip-up sweater with Om/spiritual symbols on the sleeve
*Gray pants
Black Harley-Davidson riding boots *Carrying a machete
*Had one granola bar and two mandarin oranges
Last known direction of travel:
North from the Gold Hill property.
The Search Continues, Jakhobi is still missing, and we are committed to searching until we bring him home.
We are deeply grateful to every person who has donated, shared his story, searched, prayed, and stood beside our family during this unimaginable time. Your kindness has made it possible for search efforts to continue long after many searches would have ended.
The dedicated volunteers searching for Jakhobi have spent countless hours and days on the mountain. Many are using their own vehicles, equipment, drones, and supplies while paying expenses out of their own pockets. They have sacrificed work, time with their families, and personal resources because they refuse to give up on Jakhobi.
How Your Donations Help
Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting the ongoing search efforts and reimbursing the volunteers who continue putting boots on the ground each day.
Funds will help cover:
Fuel and transportation to and from the search area *Food, water, and supplies during search operations *Drone equipment, storage, batteries, and maintenance
*Employee wages for those taking time away from work to search
*Camping and overnight search expenses
*Search and rescue equipment and gear *Communication and navigation tools
*Other necessary costs directly related to ongoing search efforts
Without the dedication of these volunteers and the generosity of our community, these searches would not be possible.
Please Help Keep Jakhobi’s Name Alive and WEAR HOPE!

I've been following this closely and I have my first little. I can't imagine my child going missing. My brother went missing February 2022 in Iowa, my stomping grounds. So I feel in my heart for Jakhobi's family! Thinking about you guys every day.
I'm a cousin on his paternal side and would love to aid in any way possible
I recently found out by my mom that Jakhobi and I are second cousins, learning that he's been missing for 40 days is really heartbreaking, I trying my best to spread the news and help. I really hope he finds his way home soon
